Personal

Born in Durban, South Africa. Most of my youth was spent in a small farming community, Burgersdorp in the North Eastern Cape. After completing high school I relocated to Pretoria , Gauteng where I completed my National Service and Study. Working mostly as a contractor until I left for the United Kingdom in early 2003.

Sport has always been a part of my life and Rugby featured high on the list. I recently took up golf after playing one last season for West of Scotland R.F.C. Other sports I parttake on a regular basis include Tennis, Squash, Cricket and Cycling.

I'm currently a Principal Technologist at Charteris PLC, with Offices in Edinburgh and London. My focus is on providing Solutions that solve real Business problems and add value to the Client. I focus on delivering solutions on platforms such as SharePoint , BizTalk and the.Net Framework or a combination of whilst practicing good Software Engineering principles.

Recent projects include SharePoint Server Farm deployments, Enterprise Integration with well known vendors, Planning and Design of Operational Principles and Architecting bespoke Solutions for the .Net Framework
